The results for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 are expected to be announced in the first week of July, according to a senior official. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the exam dates until June 17 to accommodate the remaining 65,000 students who are yet to appear for the test. With a significant increase in applications this year, CUET UG 2023 has become the second-largest entrance exam in the country, witnessing a surge of 41 percent compared to the previous year.
Exam Schedule and Admit Cards:
Initially scheduled to end on May 31, the CUET UG 2023 exams will now take place on June 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17. The city intimation slip and admit cards for the remaining days will be published after the NTA releases the admit cards for tests up until June 11. Buffer dates of June 21, 22, and 23 have been allocated to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances.
Exam Attendance and Candidates:
Around 75 percent of the registered candidates have participated in the CUET UG 2023 exams thus far. While the majority of pending candidates hail from Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand, there are also applicants from other states and Union territories eagerly awaiting their exam dates. The phased exam approach saw 8.05 lakh candidates in Phase 1, 6.73 lakh in Phase 2, 8.60 lakh in Phase 3, 1.73 lakh in Phase 4, and 1.27 lakh in Phase 5.
