Additionally, since each student received a brand-new surgical mask upon arrival, personal masks were not permitted.
JEE Main 2023, Session 2: Mathematics was moderate on the final day of the shift.
Mathematics received a moderate rating. Calculus and algebra chapters received more weightage. Functions, Limits and Continuity, Application of Derivative, Definite Integrals, Area under Curves, and Differential Equations are some of the topics covered in Calculus. In algebra, there were questions on matrices, permutations and combinations, vectors, 3D geometry, progressions, statistics, the binomial theorem, mathematical reasoning, and probability. Questions in Co-ordinate Geometry’s Parabola, Circles, and Ellipse sections have mixed concepts. Both MCQs and Numerical Based questions involved extensive calculations.
Last day, Shift 2 of JEE Main 2023, Chemistry was simple to moderate.
On a difficulty scale, chemistry was evaluated as easy to moderate. In comparison to Organic and Physical Chemistry, questions from Inorganic Chemistry received more weightage. Ionic equilibrium, electrochemistry, and chemical kinetics problems were included in the numerical section. Amines, Alcohols, Ethers and Phenols, Biomolecules, Polymers, Aryl and Alkyl Halides were the topics of mixed concept questions in Organic Chemistry. S-block, P-block, Chemical Bonding, Co-ordination Compounds, Ores, and Metallurgy questions were included in the inorganic chemistry exam.
Last day of Shift 2 in JEE Main 2023: Physics was simple.
On the difficulty scale, physics was scored as simple. Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Power and Energy, Heat and Thermodynamics, SHM, Current Electricity, Magnetism, Gravitation, Modern Physics, Semiconductors, Communications Systems, and Optics were among the topics covered in the questions. It was simple to moderate questions with a numerical focus. Chapters from class 12 carried more weightage.
