In 2019, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati celebrated its 25th anniversary since its founding in 1994. It currently consists of eleven departments, nine inter-disciplinary academic centers, and five schools offering a wide range of programs in engineering, science, healthcare, management, humanities, and more.
