IIT-Madras introduces two additional levels to its “Out of the Box Thinking Mathematics” course!

The esteemed Indian Institute of Technology–Madras (IIT–M) is introducing Levels 3 and 4 for the ‘Out of the Box Thinking’ Mathematics Course, which aims to promote creative thinking.
Through the IIT-M Pravartak Technologies Foundation, the course is being delivered entirely free of charge online. The final exam will be proctored and administered in a few Indian cities.
Pravartak will also offer the Grade Certification to pupils who take the tests. Through this course, the Institute hopes to reach up to one million working adults, college and high school students, as well as researchers. Level 3 and Level 4 registration will end on May 7.
The course will be taught by math educator Sadagopan Rajesh, who is also the founder and director of the Aryabhatta Institute of Mathematical Sciences. For the past 30 years, he has been a maths teacher.
A total of 1.42 lakh students registered for the level 1 and 2, which were introduced last year. Everyone in India and abroad will be able to access the course for free on the internet, according to IIT-M.
Innovation that leads to entrepreneurship requires creative thinking. According to V Kamakoti, director of IIT Madras, training young brains to think differently will eventually result in young people who are inventive for our nation.
In response to this development, Sadagopan Rajesh, a mathematician and the founder-director of the Aryabhatta Institute of Mathematical Sciences, stated, “The New Zealand and Australian Olympic teams featured mathematicians as part of their team in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Similar logic is required in the domains of filmmaking, banking, marketing, real estate, and other esoteric studies in order to arrive at the final figures or computations. As a result, it is crucial to concentrate on the logical area of mathematics, which is the study of facts and facts based on figures and is crucial for everyone’s profession.
