The second round of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) will begin on April 6 under the supervision of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The BE and BTech papers, or paper 1; the BArch (paper 2A) and BPlanning (paper 2B) papers; and the JEE Main session 2 test will all be administered. The second session of the JEE Main 2023 exam will run till April 15.
Also, it should be noted that Section A and Section B for each of the three subjects would receive negative marking in JEE Main 2023. For every accurate response, four marks will be awarded; however, for every incorrect response, one mark will be subtracted.
Section A and Section B in each of the three subjects will receive negative marks in JEE Main 2023. Each correct response will receive four marks, but each incorrect response will lose one mark. No marks will be awarded for questions that were left unanswered in JEE Main 2023 and flagged for review. In accordance with the JEE Main 2023 marking scheme, if more than one option is determined to be accurate, four marks will be given to only those who marked any of the correct options, and if all options are determined to be accurate, four marks will be given to everyone who attempted the question.
Full marks will be awarded to candidates who took the exam if none of the answers on the JEE Main 2023 question paper are determined to be accurate for a given question, a question is determined to be incorrect, or a question is withdrawn. Candidates are thus informed that no marks will be awarded for questions left unanswered in JEE Main 2023 and marked for review. The applicant’s NTA results from these two sessions will be used to create the final merit list, with the best score from each session being taken into account.
