Women are said to hold up half of the sky, but many of us are unaware of just how much. Women are producing, designing, and innovating to make better lives for themselves, their families, their communities all around the world and in all walks of life. Women are creating a bridge of equality, engaging with others, and envisioning more wealthy and meaningful careers. They’re addressing the ‘digital divide,’ which disproportionately affects rural and low-income people. Women’s equality is a guaranteed method to lift individuals and nations out of poverty, combat climate change, and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
For millennia, society has confounded sex with gender, resulting in a gender hierarchy. Boys are taught to present themselves as stoic from an early age, whereas girls are taught to exhibit themselves as emotional. Men are hierarchically placed above women due to the link between emotionlessness and strength, and sensitivity and weakness. Women are linked with weakness, whereas men are connected with strength. This way of thinking is bred by the widely held belief that stereotypically male features are mutually exclusive with stereotypically feminine traits. When gender is placed on a spectrum, however, a variety of qualities can overlap and coexist within one body without any of them being superior to the others. People can be human when they consider gender on a spectrum. The systematic discriminatory practices established throughout history with the explicit intention of reducing women to a condition of inferiority are still visible in today’s world. The superiority of males over females was born and institutionalized during centuries of unrestrained compartmentalization of gender into two divided categories. Inequitable pay, a lack of government representation, sexual assault, and underrepresentation in the educational and professional arenas all bear the sexist patriarchy’s effect. Despite all of the gender stereotypes and hostility to gender parity, women have triumphed. Throughout history, women have proven to be resilient in the face of adversity. From Malala Yousafzai’s tireless efforts to ensure equal access to education to Susan B. Anthony’s attempts to secure women’s voting rights, countless women have left indelible marks, no matter how male-dominated our society is. While International Women’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to honor people who have made a difference, it’s also vital to remember that transgender women are just as feminine as ciswomen.
January 24th is a very special day as this day is celebrated to cherish the daughter of our nation. The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India initiated this celebration in 2008. The following are the goals of honoring National Girl Child Day:
1)Draw attention to the injustices that girls experience in the country.
2)Raise awareness of a girl child’s rights.
3)Raising awareness about the importance of a girl’s education, health, and nutrition

Make your dream come true
Kalpana Chawala did what was unthinkable at the time, Saina Nehwal and Mary Kom proved everyone who doubted them wrong. They worked hard to advance in their careers and were successful in achieving their goals. Women should put forth a lot of effort if they want to have a successful career. They can make sensible decisions and feel self-worthy since they are financially self-sufficient. Respond to crises, Emergencies always come unexpectedly. Women can only help their families cope with random encounters if they are financially independent in such instances. I’m pleased to identify as a feminist. I am honored to stand in support of women. I’m not fighting to give women more strength because they already have it. Rather, I’m fighting alongside women and men all across the world to help deconstruct the structures that hinder women from fully exercising their personhood. I’m fighting to enact and normalize the equality that women deserve, not the status that patriarchy has bestowed upon them. We’ve already seen what women can accomplish when faced with enormous obstacles. Consider what they could accomplish without them. The future does not lie in perpetuating the existing male-centric culture.
The future belongs to women.
