Social Studies is a subject that cannot be taken lightly because it carries a lot of weight as far as the NTSE exam is concerned. Complete knowledge of History, Geography, and Civics is essential. HIDDEN BENEFITS:
You may be a school topper in class 9 or class 10, but the benefit that NTSE offers often do not cross the minds of students. Let us take an example. Say, you have topped your class in a good Jaipur school but apart from your immediate circle & of course the school, no one is aware of this achievement. Now if you sat for the NTSE exam & scored equal to or better than what you did in your class, the entire Rajasthan will be aware of it. Indeed, a cherishable milestone, isnt it?
It is definitely better to be known at the state level for your exemplary academic achievement because it will also open many avenues for a brighter future.
Also, the government of our country gives a scholarship for students of classes 11 & 12, on a monthly basis, and the amount only increases once you reach college. The only criteria for this scholarship understandably, clearing the NTSE examination & scoring the required marks.
ALL THE VERY BEST TO YOU!!!
