‘‘Bhaiya’ – A healer like no other
It is true that we remember the smile or the beauty of a face for a very long time. But when a human being comes along who has a heart that is the epitome of benevolence, he or she becomes significant in this journey of our life.
Sandeep Mehta, the co-founder of Vidyamandir Classes, our ‘Bhaiya’ as we affectionately address him, is a man of principles, discipline, conviction but above all, this is a man with a heart of gold. His smile lights up a room and his aura is magnetic. Who wouldn’t call him a ‘healer’ of his own kind?
Yes, there is not another human being whose tenderness of the heart is as deep as his generosity and tolerance. An ExIITian, a successful educationist, his dream of creating a little haven for all the youngsters out there could not have been achieved if his intentions would not have been pure.
Whatever Bhaiya perceived, he explored. He had his extended self in the other 3 founders namely Brijmohan Gupta(Bade Bhaiya), Shyammohan Gupta(Manjhle Bhaiya), and Manmohan Gupta(Chotay Bhaiya). And this extension was a lifelong commitment that they made to each other to bring happiness to the hearts and minds of the young, and aspiring.
Vidyamandir Classes became a brand name with respect to Engineering minded families and students. For over 35years, his unnerving hard work our dear Bhaiya widened his outlook and in the year 2017, he took the bold step of introducing coaching for Medical students as well.
His heart would ache when he would see young, vibrant, and energetic youths, in total confusion in relation to their futures. Bhaiya could understand the need of implementing a system that would not only take care of the academics but also introduce to them an extensive plethora of various jobs, professions, and ideas that they could opt for.
The student-mentor relationship which was the outcome of Bhaiya’s vision in bridging the gap between students and teachers was indeed a phenomenal success. VMC as a family was able to bring about considerable and optimistic changes in the lives of lacs and lacs of students. They were consistently able to fulfill all the promises that were ever made and continue to do so with the same energy, passion, compassion, and love.
