The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled the meticulously crafted timetable for the supplementary examinations catering to both Class 10 and Class 12 students for the academic year of 2024.

Scheduled to commence from July 15th, these exams offer students a chance to improve their performance and marks in subjects they couldn’t clear during the regular board examinations. Exam Dates and Subjects: The supplementary exams for CBSE Class 10 will commence with the Social Sciences paper scheduled for July 15th, followed by Hindi Course A and Course B on July 16th. Science will be conducted on July 18th, while Mathematics (Standard and Basic) and English (Communicative and Language & Literature) will be held on July 19th and July 20th, respectively. Finally, the Class 10 compartment exam 2024 will conclude with language papers including Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Manipuri, Bodo, along with Computer Application and Information Technology on July 22nd.

For Class 12 students, the supplementary exam will take place on July 15th, covering all subjects. Most of the Class 12 papers will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Exam Timings: Except for the Computer Application and Information Technology paper, all Class 10 exams will run from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Computer Application and Information Technology paper will be held for a duration of two hours, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Important Points to Note:

  • These exams will be based on the syllabus prescribed for the board examination for the session 2023-24.
  • The tentative date sheet has been published to assist students in selecting the subjects they wish to appear for in the supplementary examinations for performance improvement. The definitive schedule will be released once the deadline for submitting the Letter of Confirmation (LOC) has passed.

Results and Pass Percentage: The CBSE Class 10 and 12 results for the year 2024 were declared on May 13th. The pass percentage stood at an impressive 93.60% for Class 10 and 87.98% for Class 12. These results reflect the hard work and dedication of students and teachers alike.
