The admit card for the upcoming Class 10 and 12 exams has been made available by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). From the Board’s official website i.e., cbse.gov.in, candidates now can download their admit cards.

The CBSE class 10 and 12 board examinations will begin on February 15, 2023. Class 10 exams will end on March 21, while class 12 exams will end on April 5.

Here is how to access your CBSE admit card:

  • Visit the CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
  • Click the CBSE Class 10, 12, Admit Card 2023 link on the homepage.
  • Enter your login details, then hit the “submit” button.
  • You will see the Admit Card on the screen.
  • Check the admit card for correctness and save it.
  • Get a hard copy for future reference.

According to the Board, admit card will include the following details:

  • Roll number
  • Date of birth (only for class X)
  • Name of Exam
  • Candidate’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Father’s Name or Guardian’s Name
  • Name of examination centre
  • Category of PwD
  • Admit card ID
  • Subjects in which appearing with date of examination

The board has also given candidates some information in order to enforce strict compliance.

The applicant’s mother, father, or legal guardian are required to read over the information on the admit card and sign where appropriate after verifying all information, including the accuracy of the photo.

According to the Board, no candidate will be permitted to enter the examination centre after 10:00 am; as a result, they must arrive early. In addition to the CBSE-issued admit card and only the authorized writing materials, the candidate should arrive in school uniform and with a school identity card.

Candidates shouldn’t come to the centre with a mobile phone with a GPS, any gadgets, or anything else that is prohibited. The vital guidelines provided in the admit card must be read and followed by the candidates. Additionally, the candidate has been notified by the board that they must stop spreading misinformation and hosting any content on social media platforms.
