“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”…
Nelson Mandela

The 9 lettered word “education“, holds its significance , stretching beyond numbers , letters, words and sentences. It’s the only means which can lift the society from sheer darkness to rays of hope. Education brings consciousness, with consciousness comes realization and with realization, one acquires the ability to judge between right and wrong. True to the famous quote by Sir Mandela, education is the most trusted and powerful weapon to fight against malignancies of all sorts, poverty being the greatest among them all! From Vivekananda to Tagore to Vidyasagar to Ambedkar and Dr Kalam, each one of them has delineated the importance of “education” or “man-making” education for a better India to thrive upon relentlessly. And truly , without an “education for all“, a better , happy India can never , ever prosper. Hence on this 130th Birth Anniversary of Dr B.R Ambedkar, let our vision be of an “inclusive education” or an education that embraces all , irrespective of the hindrances.

Dr Ambedkar considered education as a means for self-expression, for building self-esteem . He believed that only through education people can cultivate the values of freedom and equality amongst themselves. An Indian Jurist, Economist, Political and Social Reformer and the Chief Architect of India’s constitution, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar was a prolific student and a great Educationist too. His ideas of education were for an “inclusive development”. His pragmatic views on education delineated that education and primary education must be accessible to all. This brings us to the question of relevance of “Online Education” , which undoubtedly focuses on the mission of “inclusive education”.
