What is ‘fear’…?
Ever thought of this?
Most of us just tend to carry on with our fears, and give them the power to overpower us! What is life without fear? What is life without failures? Yes, they are two very different attributes but they do become synonymous at certain given points in time.
It does not really matter whether you are appearing for a competitive exam, learning how to drive, or anything else for that matter. ‘Fear’ has the ability to rip you off your motivation, courage, preparedness, and self-conviction, only if you let it.
Talking about the fears of students at various stages of their lives is very important, because that is an impressionable age, and no degree of uncertainty, fear, apprehensiveness should be left unchecked, or unaddressed.
It is understandable that when you are appearing for an exam like the NEET entrance Exam 2022, it does make you a little nervous even if you are thoroughly prepared. And if just in case your preparation is not up to the mark, then you have all the reasons to be scared, jittery, uncertain, etc! So the crux comes down to that one thing, ie, ‘how seriously have you taken your entrance test’…!
It is as simple as that!
If you have wasted time, have not followed a timetable, not taken mock tests, not attended sessions at your coaching centre, then the only gift that you will receive from your own self, is the worst fear, and that is the ‘fear of failure…’!
On the contrary, if you have worked in a disciplined, and focused manner, towards your preparations, then there is no need to fear. Students who fall in this category should stay confident, and alert. While giving the test all of your focus should remain on answering appropriately. Since the course for NEET entrance is so well-defined, there is no scope for any confusion whatsoever.
Work on the formulas & theories. Practice the chemical equations daily. Read Botany & Zoology lessons very deeply.
Practice the sums, be it mathematics or physics every day. Reach your tutor or coaching institute with all your doubts & confusion.
Take the help of fellow friends for academic preparation during this period instead of calling them to gossip. What this typically means is that you have to utilize all the facilities you have in your hand to complete your syllabus as early you can.
At the same time give the mock tests, check your percentage in each subject to isolate the subject with the least percentage. Work on that subject. Appear in another mock test very soon after you work out your failures. Start your revision work & here also you must revise each subject lesson-wise.
WISH YOU ALL THE BEST!
