The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2023 will be held on June 4, 2023, at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. On the official JEE Advanced 2023 examination website, jeeadv.ac.in, candidates who are deemed eligible can review the information.

This test is required to be taken in order to be admitted to the Indian Institute of Technology’s Bachelors, Integrated Master’s, and Dual Degree programs. A candidate may take the JEE Advanced exam a maximum of thrice in two consecutive years.

Exam Details

JEE Advanced 2023 will consist of two three-hour-long question papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Additionally, each of these papers will have three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The questions on the test sheets will then be written to gauge students’ comprehension, logical thinking, and analytical skills. For some of these questions, there won’t be any negative marking for incorrect responses. Beginning on April 30, 2023, applicants can register online for JEE Advanced. The registered students must pay their fees by May 5, 2023.

For Indian citizens, the registration fee is Rs. 1,450 for female candidates, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Person with Disabilities, and Rs. 2,900 for all other candidates.

The cost for applicants who live in SAARC countries is $90, and the cost for candidates who live in non-SAARC countries is $180.

The results will be announced on June 18, 2023. (Sunday). After the results are announced, category-specific All India Ranks (AIR) of the successful students will be accessible via the JEE (Advanced) 2023 online portal. The candidates will also receive text messages at the registered mobile numbers they provided.

Eligibility

For admission to IITs, performance on the Class XII (or Equivalent) Board Examination will also count toward eligibility. Candidates must meet at least one of the two requirements listed below, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being required in the year of their initial appearance in Class XII (or equivalent examination). The applicant must have obtained a minimum of 75% overall in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board exam. Candidates who are SC, ST, or PwD must have a minimum cumulative score of 65%. They must rank in the top 20% of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board exams, according to category.
