The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 counselling for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and super-speciality programs has been announced, and students who plan to participate should read the advisory notice from the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). The committee has forewarned candidates in the advisory against fake agents who promise a confirmed seat in return for money. According to the commission’s letter, all admissions and counselling are conducted using the MCC software on the basis of merit.

The MCC does not assign seats based on nominations. Candidates who have received seats from MCC must report to the colleges assigned for admission after downloading the provisional allotment letter from the MCC website. Candidates must therefore be suspicious of any communication about the allocation of seats that is provided on behalf of MCC by scrupulous individuals, according to the letter from MCC.

The commission advised applicants to complete registration and other relevant tasks and to be wary of bogus agents. The password created for registration must not be shared by the candidates with anybody.

MCC made it clear that it does not host any websites other than mcc.nic.in after warning aspirants of fraudulent websites. Any bogus website or agent should be reported right away to MCC, and the candidate should file a police report in such instances.

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling stray vacancy round had a reporting date of December 28. Candidates who received seats through the stray vacancy round were asked to report at their institutes by December 28 under the NEET counselling schedule for 2022 provided by the MCC. The reporting process began on December 24, although the result wasn’t made public until December 23. The NEET UG 2023 will be held on May 7, 2023, in accordance with the timetable made public by NTA. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG will take place between May 21 and May 31.
