The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently unveiled the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2024, marking a significant shift in cut-off criteria compared to the previous year. Aspiring medical students can now access their undergraduate course results on the official NTA NEET website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET, as well as on neet.ntaonline.in.

In a notable development, the cut-off scores for NEET UG 2024 have witnessed a noticeable increase across all categories. For instance, the cut-offs for the general and general-PH categories have soared from a previous range of 720-137 to 720-164. Similarly, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories have seen an uptick in cut-off scores from 136-107 to 163-129. Equally significant is the rise in cut-offs for SC, ST, and OBC-PH candidates, elevating from 120-107 to 145-129.

For students eager to check their results, several websites have been designated for easy access, including exams.nta.ac.in/NEET, neet.ntaonline.in, ntaresults.nic.in, and nta.ac.in. To view their scorecards, candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth on the official NTA NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in.

  1. Navigate to the official NTA NEET website.
  2. Locate and click on the NEET 2024 Result link on the homepage.
  3. Input your login credentials and proceed.
  4. Your scorecard will be promptly displayed on the screen.
  5. Please confirm the information and retrieve the scorecard by downloading it.
  6. Keep a physical copy for future use.

According to data provided by the NTA, a total of 9,96,393 male candidates, 13,31,321 female candidates, and 17 transgender candidates appeared for the exam. Impressively, the overall attendance stood at 96.94%, with 96.92% for male candidates, 96.96% for female candidates, and 94.44% for transgender candidates. The surge in cut-off scores reflects the heightened competition and the aspirants’ relentless pursuit of excellence in the medical field.
