The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a crucial opportunity for NEET-UG aspirants. The correction window, initially closed, has been reopened from April 25th until April 26th (11:59 pm), granting candidates a one-time chance to rectify their uploaded photographs via the official website – neet.ntaonline.in.

This decision stems from the Agency’s observation that many candidates’ uploaded photos fail to meet the prescribed format standards, resulting in the withholding of their admit cards. Candidates can verify if their applications are under scrutiny by referring to the remarks section of their NEET UG advance city intimation slip.

Scheduled for May 5th, the NEET UG 2024 exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode, available in 13 languages.

Here are the details of the correction window:

NEET (UG) – 2024 Correction Window:

  • Commencement: April 25, 2024 (7 am)
  • Closure: April 26, 2024 (11:59 pm)
  • Fields for Corrections: Photograph

This year, a staggering 23 lakh candidates have registered for the exam. Among them, over 10 lakh are male students, over 13 lakh are girls, and 24 students have registered under the ‘third gender’ category.

This unique opportunity provided by the NTA underscores the importance of adhering to prescribed guidelines, ensuring a smooth and fair examination process for all NEET-UG candidates. As the correction window reopens, aspirants are urged to promptly rectify any discrepancies in their photo uploads to avoid any complications during the examination process.
