There is a saying “THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE” that truly means other people’s lives or situations always seem better and comfortable. Things a person does not have always seem captivating than the things a person does have. We live in a world encircled by ordinary humans who see the world independently and often feel other people are happier than them and destiny is brutal to them; they feel all the sorrows and struggles, which is absolutely incorrect.
It is the human tendency to want one doesn’t have and feel envious. Have you ever wondered if “the grass is greener on the other side”, what is resisting it from being the “other side” and not your side? If the one endeavors to be the finest they can be, they will be considered as an epitome in spite of their imperfections. Most see imperfections within themselves but refuse to admit the beautiful traits or commending circumstances they acquire.
Therefore, it is eminent that “grass gets greener steadily if you water it frequently”, which means efforts lead to success in life. Success is directly proportional to the amount of hard work and the time you have invested in achieving that goal. Most importantly, failure is the most important step in achieving the goal. Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Thomas Edison stumbled while he worked on the discovery of light? The world would have still been darker. You might have heard about Elon Musk. He is the world’s richest person and people think he is the richest because he has money, the answer is no, he is the richest because of the goals he has accomplished throughout his life 20 years back he had invested his time in learning new skills and inventing new things and the time he invested back then has given him the status of the world richest man today. Their lives seem appealing because they had come out of their comfort zone and worked on the things they had dreamt of. There is always a story behind every success; therefore, you should never judge a book by its cover. “Comparison is the root cause of all evil”, stay focused, learn to compete with yourself instead of others. Where are you compared to where you were at this time last year? Or five years ago? In the past year, you’ve learned, stretched, improved, accomplished, and created. Think about how much of that you’ve done in your lifetime!
Subsequently, don’t fear failure, face it, and don’t compare your talents with others it will help you to achieve success in life. Success does not have a definite formula or mantra which is applicable to every around the world. The meaning of success changes from person to person, for instance, success to someone could be doing your dream job, having a car and for students, it could be becoming successful in academics and getting good grades. Three crucial factors required to become successful are Hardwork, failure, and having a timetable. Also, work on the process of achieving your goal, and a firm blueprint is required to accomplish your goals. The initial move in making a blueprint is to invest your time in your goals and aspirations by preparing a good timetable. Importantly, do not take success too seriously as it will have a destructive effect on your health and the relationships around you.
