Exams, exams, exams!!
And then board exams!!!
It is that time of the year again when the spirits are high, the nerves are pulsating & the adrenaline rush is at its peak!
So be it, after all these are the exams that will define your future.
Some wish in their hearts how amazing it would have been if Google sat beside them during the exam! While others just hoping & praying that it gets over! Each one of us reacts differently to the board examinations. Those who have already given them always have advice up their sleeve, while those who were unable to clear them, well…what can I say about them!
It is imperative to face the boards. No one can escape it, but the fact remains that how many of them are there who understand its importance. Whatever we get our minds to think of of the board examinations, that defines our reality. It is the essence of all the hard work that we put in throughout that academic year. If we look at it on a larger spectrum, it is something that we are always pointed out at, especially when we are in the 8th or 9th standard. And rightfully so!
If we score well in our boards the future is undoubtedly crystal clear & many avenues also open up. All of the planning that goes into deciding a great future, rests upon how we perform in the boards. Here is where ‘a good attitude’ comes into play. If you start looking at it as a horrific, boring time of your academic life then you will be an absolute mess yourself & as far as your future is concerned…only God can help!!!
The board exams are not a matter of life & death, nor is it a battle. It is simply an examination that is being looked into very minutely, that’s it! I fail to understand why students are petrified of them as if it is some sort of ghost that’ll probably eat you up!
You need to stay calm, focussed & along with it, you need to stay determined to achieve as good as your academic abilities. Peer pressure should not be taken literally. As long as the competition is healthy, the pressure is good for health. But the moment it turns negatively fierce, we are heading for total disaster. You see, you do not have to prove your preparation to your classmates, rather you have to prove it to yourself & that’s what the attention be on. The moment things take a nasty turn, all hell breaks loose.
All sorts of attributes start popping up. Mental health problems, performance issues, etc!
We don’t want to be a part of all these horrendous things but it has been observed that students are falling prey to such corners. But please think twice…is it worth all of that pain?? It is avoidable & pretty much in your control, only if you know what/how to handle it. Teachers & parents/family/guardians are always there by your side & are going to be your guiding light whenever you need them so, please look around.
Coming back to the boards.
Now that the board exams have started, all of you must be busy with your studies. Just make sure you study hard but alongside, sleep well, eat well & just relax. This is only an exam, not a battlefield!!
ALL THE VERY BEST TO YOU!!!
