Enthusiasm and Endurance are two important spices of our life…be it for young, be it old. To make our life go on we need both to be blended in the right proportion. If enthusiasm makes us taste success while another moment its endurance which shows how & why you succeded. Both are equally valuable.

The word enthusiasm indicates :

intense excitement or feeling ;

 inspiring zeal or fervor;

belief in special revelations of the Holy Spirit also includes religious fanaticism.

Enthusiasm is defined as a lively interest for someone or something. An example of enthusiasm is a child’s great enthusiasm at joining his first cricket coaching class.

You will be surprised to know that Enthusiasm is one of the most divine feelings we can experience. Enthusiasm is energy vibrating at the highest level,  in tune with Creation. When we are feeling enthusiasm, we are on the cruise ship of divinity.

 This divine feeling of excitement is our reward for heading towards our true soul purpose.

The word ” Enthusiasm”  has its roots in the Greek language; which means “the God within “.

Now let us see what does a young chap understands by enthusiasm?

Am sure, what you mean by enthu😀 is-

an activity or subject that interests you very much and that you spend a lot of time on.

Enthusiasm is not limited to interest area but also to the great eagerness involved in your favorite activity or in an activity which you enjoy very much. Enthusiasm is great eagerness to be involved in a particular activity that you like and enjoy or which you think is important. The world has seen that Yuvraj Singh’s enthusiasm for Cricket is undefeatable.

Now we are to consider Endurance.

 Baat comes to young minds when we utter the word endurance?

Endurance is the ability to do something painful or difficult for a long period of time without complaining. It is a demonstration of sustained effort without physical fatigue. So endurance means how long you can keep moving!!

It is a kind of measurement of a person’s stamina or persistence. Let’s take this example —  Shiny Abraham of Kerala had great endurance, she ran a marathon and then rode her bicycle to her home.

It indicates an act, quality, or power of withstanding hardship or stress.

Imagine how much a marathon race tests a runner’s endurance!

What do we understand by endurance in life?

Endurance (also related to suffering, resilience, constitution, fortitude, hardness) is the ability of an organism to exert itself & remain active for a long period of time, as well as its ability to resist, withstand, recover from, and have immunity to trauma, wounds or fatigue, depression.

It  measures  without any scale, a person’s stamina or persistence, or ability to endure hardship

How do you show endurance?

Pace yourself & breathe patience– Push through, push a little bit beyond your limit. Without overdoing. Endurance comes gradually.

HOW CAN YOU BUILD ENDURANCE FOR YOURSELF?

Some physical activities that build endurance are:

Brisk walking or jogging.

Yard work ( like mowing, raking)

Dancing.

Swimming.

Biking.

Climbing stairs or hills.

Playing tennis or basketball.

To sum up, endurance is defined as the act of working very hard without stopping, even in the face of difficult situations or pain.

P T Usha won gold medals In the Asian games because she had the enthusiasm for athletics & she had given endurance to her event 100 m hurdles to bag the gold medal. Hope this example has cleared that why endurance is more valuable.

You can start a big project or go on a long venture because of your enthusiasm but to maintain continuity in success, you must use your endurance.

Then only you can be a victor.

ENTHUSIASM IS COMMON BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE A LIKING FOR SOMETHING, BUT TO BE PERSISTENT IN THAT LIKING WE NEED TO COVER THAT LIKING WITH  ENDURANCE.

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO FIND A CONNECTION BETWEEN ENDURANCE AND ENTHUSIASM, KNOW, THAT YOUR BATTLE IS ALMOST WON!
