Vidyamandir Classes is an IITJEE coaching organization, which was started in 1989 with a vision to teach and to produce top ranks and send maximum number of students to IIT. Since its inception, the organization is destined to orient students into the correct path by providing perfect coaching to achieve success in IITJEE.

Post IITJEE result declaration, many Coaching institutes start showing big advertisements in local newspapers where they show their top selections in IITJEE result. Many students and their parents believe that these selections are from Delhi zone as they are advertised by local coaching centers. Even many parents start thinking that the selections are from Classroom programs. This is a totally wrong and misleading picture. Most of these selections are from other states (mostly South and West India) and from programs like Test Series, Rankers file etc in which these Coaching centers don’t teach anything.

Here, we want to highlight the true picture of top ranks in IITJEE 2010. We want to publish this analysis to make our students aware that VMC is still way ahead of other Coaching centers in producing toppers as well as in the Overall success rate in North India. Here, we will present the data of VMC selections in Top 300 and selections by all other Coaching institutes and their branches together in the IIT Delhi Zone (including people who do self study or study from local teachers). We will give analysis of the complete IIT Delhi Zone, providing supporting data, so that authenticity of these findings is visible.

In this comparative, selections from our Classroom programs only will be counted (Reg and ECC -those who took guidance for 2 years in VMC). We don’t want to mislead people, like others by showing selections from either test series or ranker’s file or problem packages.

IIT Delhi Zone: Comparison between VMC and other Coaching institutes

As you know, VMC is a Delhi based coaching institute having only 1 center in Punjabi Bagh (till last year), Delhi. Majority of students who approach us for coaching are from Delhi -NCR region. VMC selects students from Delhi -NCR region and give coaching. If you look at the data, in IITJEE 2010, total selections in top 300 from IIT Delhi Zone are 52, out of which 23 (44%) are from VMC Classroom courses (REG and ECC).

What does it mean? It means VMC still produces 44% of the toppers in the complete IIT Delhi Zone and all other Coaching centers and their branches put together produce the remaining 56% of the toppers. This clearly shows that VMC’s guidance, philosophy and teaching methodologies are producing best results.

It is also worth noting that IIT Delhi Zone, according to IITJEE authorities consist of Delhi, Faridabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Jammu, Indore, Ujjain, Aligarh, Ghaziabad & Mathura. VMC, despite having a local presence in Delhi -NCR region & not having a single student from more than half of the cities in the IIT Delhi Zone, could produce 44% of the toppers

Analysis: IITJEE 2010 result of VMC

VMC still produces 44% of the toppers in IIT Delhi Zone and all Coaching centers and their branches together are producing the remaining 56% of the toppers. This clearly shows that VMC’s guidance, philosophy and teaching methodologies are producing best results.

Comparative Analysis: 2010 – 2009 result

VMC is not just producing toppers in IIT Delhi-NCR region but also in complete IIT Delhi-Zone. In the top 300 selections in complete IIT Delhi zone, 44% of the selections in IITJEE 2010 & 40% of the selections in IITJEE 2009 are from VMC. IIT Delhi zone includes cities like Delhi, Mathura, Jammu, Agra, Gwalior, Palampur, Shimla, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida etc. It is shocking that VMC could produce 44% & 40% top selections in IIT Delhi zone in IITJEE 2010 and IITJEE 2009 respectively, even though there was not a single student studying in VMC from more than half of these cities.

It shows VMC has no competitor in the complete IIT Delhi zone.
