JEE Main 2016: Offline or Online mode?

Registrations for JEE Main 2016 have begun and one big question which comes up again is ‘Which mode to opt for?’
To opt for ONLINE OR OFFLINE mode for JEE Main 2016 examination is actually a personal decision based on one’s comfort level with respect to the two modes.
# Students who need one extra week for JEE Main preparation and are focussing more on the JEE MAIN EXAM (as a lot of good colleges like IIITH, NITs, DTU, NSIT, IIITD etc offer admission based on JEE Main score) should opt for the Online mode. This stands as a wise decision.
# Another interesting observation usually made by our students (and some of our teachers as well) is that ONLINE mode is relatively easier than OFFLINE mode; though we think both modes are equal complexity wise….
# Students whose are focussing on the JEE Advanced exam can SAVE one extra week for preparation of the exam, so they should prefer OFFLINE mode. One point worth attention here is that JEE Main 2016, which is the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced 2016 is very easy and you just need 120 marks out of 360. But this should not mean that you do not give your best shot at it.
# Some students find it comfortable to give Exams in the Paper-pen mode as they have been doing it for the last two years. Though all VMC students are equipped fully for OFFLINE AS WELL AS ONLINE MODES (last year students taking Online mode confirmed that the Mock tests helped them fully and they came up with flying colors), yet it becomes a personal choice.
One more reason favouring the ONLINE mode of examination this year is that VITEEE is commencing from 6th April 2015 and one can have first hand rehearsals of national exam in online mode prior to JEE Mains (online). This is an edge that was not available in the past.
So finally both modes are good and what needs to be chosen should be decided by the student. Remember, you should choose your mode of examination with full wisdom and confidence, and once you decide, put in your best efforts and come up with flying colors.
