The eagerly awaited moment has arrived for aspirants of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Session 2, as the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key and recorded response sheet. Candidates who participated in the JEE Main Session 2 Paper 1 BE/BTech can now access the answer key via the official website of JEE Main 2024.

The provisional answer keys for the BE/BTech paper, alongside the question papers and recorded responses, have been promptly uploaded on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. For those keen on scrutinizing their performance, this is the opportune moment.

For those who wish to challenge any discrepancies in the provisional answer keys, an online platform has been provided. However, this process requires a nominal processing fee of ₹200, payable through debit card, credit card, or net banking. The deadline for submitting challenges and payment is April 14, 2024, until 11:50 pm. It’s important to note that this processing fee is nonrefundable.

Upon review, if a candidate’s challenge is deemed valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly, benefiting all candidates. Final results will be computed based on these revised answer keys. It’s essential to understand that the decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of challenges will not be communicated individually to candidates. Finalized keys, endorsed by experts after resolving challenges, will stand as the ultimate reference.

The overall process underscores the NTA’s commitment to transparency and fairness in the evaluation of candidates’ performances. It provides an opportunity for candidates to contribute to the accuracy of the assessment process, ensuring a level playing field for all participants.

As the challenge window remains open for a limited period, candidates are encouraged to review their responses diligently and take advantage of this opportunity to ensure the integrity of the examination process.
