In the journey toward securing a seat in medical colleges across India, attention to detail is paramount. The National Testing Agency (NTA) understands this, which is why they’ve opened the correction window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – NEET-UG 2024.
Starting yesterday, candidates have the opportunity to rectify any errors or modify details in their application until March 20, 2024, by 11:50 pm. However, beyond this deadline, no further corrections will be entertained under any circumstances. It’s crucial to note that any additional fees required for corrections must be settled by the candidate using Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
In a bid to alleviate any potential hardships, NTA urges candidates to exercise utmost caution during the correction process. This one-time facility is extended to ensure fairness, but it also means that no further chances for corrections will be provided. Hence, meticulousness is key.
Moreover, final corrections in the application form will only be processed after the payment of any additional fees, if applicable. It’s noteworthy that changes in Gender, Category, or PwD status may affect the fee amount, and candidates will be required to pay any excess fee accordingly.
Looking ahead, NTA has scheduled the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 on May 5, 2024. The examination will take place from 2 pm to 5:20 pm in Pen and Paper mode (offline) across 14 cities within the country and even beyond its borders.
